Illuminated Knight Parade

The Krewe of the Knights of Sant’ Yago have hosted the Illuminated Knight Parade every year since 1974. The parade is a celebration of Tampa’s long Latin heritage and civic pride, brightening the streets of Ybor City’s 7th Avenue for a special night of floats, costumes,  beads, and merriment.

  • The Krewe of the Knights of Sant' Yago will lead many of Tampa's Illustrious Krewes, prominent businesses, and other social organizations. 

    Featuring a Grand Marshal selected and announced annually (Luiz "Gonzo" Gonzalez, Florida Sports Hall of Fame baseball player, Tampa native, and Jefferson High School graduate was last year’s Grand Marshal). Also featuring special guest Steve Wilkos, host of "The Steve Wilkos Show", one of daytime television's most popular programs.

  • The Krewe of the Knights of Sant’ Yago Illuminated Knight Parade is an annual celebration of Tampa civic pride since 1974. Every February, costumed participants, illuminated floats, marching bands and special guests parade through Ybor City, with thousands of spectators and families lining Seventh Avenue. More than 100 organizations will participate in the Knight Parade, including local government officials and dignitaries and many of Tampa Bay’s krewes.

  • February 10th, 2024. The parade begins around 7pm on 7th Avenue in Ybor City. Come see marching bands galore, local political and social icons, and more.

  • The official Knight Pare Pre-Party will be held at Carmine’s in Ybor City on February 9th from 7-11pm! Tickets have sold out for this event but we will update this page when tickets for the 2025 Night before the Knight Parade Party are released.
