Shimmering in long white gowns and carrying bouquets of roses, each debutante is escorted to her parents on the dance floor. There, mothers received a single stem and return to their seats. Fathers continue the promenade as the Lord Chamberlains read the biographies of the young ladies. Childhood pictures of the debutantes, now between 18 and 25 years old, flash on the screen. Upon completion of the introductions, the debutantes and their fathers share a beautiful waltz, choreographed over many hours.
